One of my favorite things about the Holiday season is tradition. Each family that celebrates Christmas does it a little differently. Growing up in the Twin Cities, our Christmas usually involved going to the Holidazzle parade in downtown Minneapolis.

The Holidazzle has been around since 1992 and seems to get bigger and better each year. The floats and marchers come dressed up as fairy tale and holiday characters. Most of the participants wear costumes with built in lights. Because the parade is held at night, it makes for a great display of Holiday colors.

My family continues to attend the event and still have a blast. (Even though it was only 5 degrees last year!) What are your favorite Christmas traditions?
