Beautiful outcome...
Review by HoneySal / (Posted on 8/29/2017) I made this stocking for my granddaughter and it turned out beautifully. This was the first project of this sort for me so I was a little apprehensive. I followed the instructions in order and crossed off each step as I completed it. Turned out to be the most beautiful stocking I've made (other stockings were cross stitch). Am shopping now for a new stocking project like this!
Beautiful stocking
Review by Mima / (Posted on 8/28/2017) As with all Bucilla kits, the directions are clear. The finished product is beautiful. Just right for the princess in your family. I made a few changes in thread colors but it didn't affect the overall stocking. Lots of details make this beautiful.
Most fun so far
Review by angela / (Posted on 8/27/2016) This was my third stocking. Definitely not for a beginner. I made a few changes, like adding sequins instead of stripes on the castle roof. Also, left off the tendrils and long pieces of hair. I found the directions for the curly tendrils confusing. Once I left those 2 components out, she looked like a certain cartoon princess, which the young girl I'm giving it to absolutely loves. Also, used all sequins on the crown. I don't have much luck with the gold wire thread. I find it difficult to use. Instead of "corded" pink thread on the bouquet, I just used a fine satin red ribbon. Once you've done a couple of things, you can customize somewhat as you go. It turned out STUNNING!
